Non-profit and club team entries for a $500 Draw Prize

Run for the Ferry, which is the fund raiser for the non-profits Bowen Community Housing Association and Bowen Island Rock Runners, has decided to help other established clubs and non-profits have the opportunity to raise $500 for their organization.

This is a draw prize and not determined by speed, so as to make it fair to groups whose members may not be athletes. The team can be made up of friends or relatives if the organization wishes.

We will be setting this up with our online registration service, so that by simply entering your group’s name, you become part of the team event with your registration. For a team to qualify for the draw, there must be at least four members from your club or non profit registered with the club or non-profit’s name filled in.

This will be a fun way for your organization or club to have a chance to win $500 and to contribute to the objectives of the Bowen Community Housing Association. So, put together a team of walkers, joggers or runners for Run for the Ferry 2010.
